I remember how we used to stroll through all the chit chats in the heart of Central Perk,
Back in those days, when phone was not an asset and just a means of communication, we hung up to the cliché jokes and shared our sad days.
I remember there was a place, a distraction in every corner of the city,
But sitting on that couch with Gunther at our backs, staring a beautiful girl, that used to laugh on most of lovely days, was a delight.
Remember those days when they ran into our houses, screaming, yelling, telling about the craziest things they did.
We used to jump with a subtle gesture between excitement and happiness.
I never realised how soon Monica grew her hair, how soon Joey got his career, how soon Ross marriages failed and how soon we were all drifted apart.
I never realised walking by the aisle ,
How nostalgic these memories became.
The nostalgia makes me crestfallen at times, but also makes me remember, a beautiful life we lived.
With every break in the seasons,
We grew a little older, a step closure towards the end of an era, where we would be forced to walk out of the door,
Leaving behind the streets and lanes of the city we loved,
And the couch of central perk, to make some more beautiful memories with a new group of people, they called FRIENDS.
