A Little Soul
by Sreya Bhattacharjee
Let’s not call upon the world of fear,
Stretched beyond eternity.
Instead, chase joy relentlessly,
Seeking it within the own.
You are the abode of turmoil.
You breed dread in you,
Let all melt away.
On the path to solace,
Let all that melt away!
Fear not the oblivion,
Fear the wrath burried in you.
For no man shall bring your descent;
None, save from your own crown.
You are a little soul.
Who hovers over mysteries unknown.
Bereft of glee,
Searching for the Sun in the night sky.
Why do you then war
The man rampant before you?
